MY BACKGROUND STORY
I am a former engineer who pursued a career in the automotive sector in Germany and later as a Global Expatriate in China. Over 19 years, I worked in 10 different departments across 3 areas of automotive manufacturing.
An accidental near-death experience in 2015 profoundly changed my life. In this unforeseen event, my consciousness was pushed out of my body, and I entered a realm beyond the physical plane and rational comprehension. Long story short, I died, encountered the afterlife, and returned. I faced an existential crisis afterward, followed by burnout. My mind touched mysticism and spirituality, and my rational thinking could not cope. Neither standard medical treatment nor psychology approaches made sense for what I had experienced.
In response, I left my automotive career and moved to Brazil with my wife. There, I began studying psychedelic substances and working with them therapeutically. The respectful use of those means can open the door to our psyche and, with professional help, heal it.
In 2017, I expanded my healing process to include sacred plant medicines, particularly Ayahuasca, and the psychedelic mushroom. After following the psychedelic research from many Western institutions and finishing my education in guided psychedelic sessions, I started introducing these treatments to those who hear its call and assist with the critical integration work. I spread awareness about the cultural indigenous heritage and usage of those medicines to preserve them from mainstream Pop-shamanism.
As my healing process evolved, I moved from psychedelics to Eastern spiritual teachings. I learned about many different sacred ways and practices, using them as structures to navigate myself and articulate my spiritual and psychedelic experiences. This ongoing dance is a vital point of discovering one's true self, liberated from cultural, social, educational, and even spiritual programming. I enjoy reviewing spiritual content with my rational/technical background to create contemporary links with science.
My wife, a psychologist, provides valuable professional advice for our clients, balancing the spiritual aspects of my work with grounded reasoning.
