The problem we are trying to solve
The world is facing deep ecological, social, and spiritual crises—stemming from unsustainable development, loss of connection to nature, and trauma that has impacted generations. Communities are disconnected, and many people suffer from unresolved birth trauma, disempowered relationships, and a lack of meaningful connection to the Earth. These issues prevent us from creating the regenerative lifestyles needed to thrive in harmony with the planet.
The main barrier is the lack of accessible spaces that integrate regenerative living practices and deep healing work. Many retreats only focus on either the spiritual or practical side of healing, but not both. The challenge is creating a space where these can converge—where people can heal from trauma, learn how to create sustainable communities, and engage in personal and planetary regeneration. Additionally, funding is needed to make these resources and experiences available to more people, ensuring that participation is not limited to only those with financial means.
The solution we are offering:
The Hawaii Embodied Regeneration Retreat is an 8-week transformative experience in an eco-village, designed to foster regeneration on personal, community, and planetary levels. Over 8 weeks, the retreat offers practical knowledge in eco-village development, permaculture, and regenerative systems, alongside personal growth through song and dance, birthing practices, and Indigenous spiritual teachings. This retreat equips individuals with the knowledge, experience and network to lead regenerative lifestyles that support thriving ecosystems, professions and communities.
Our solution is simple:
create a space immersed in nature where participants can
harmonize with nature, heal their bodies, professionally network and
transform with like-minded individuals. The eco-village itself is a
regenerative paradise, powered by solar energy, with rain-caught
water, composting toilets, and a wood-burning hot tub and watsu pool
filled with ocean spring water. A clothing-optional sanctuary, it is
abundant with fruits harvested from the land, where meals are shared
and lovingly prepared by retreatants in the Kuleana scholarship
program. By combining personal healing with ecological and community
regeneration, this retreat empowers participants to co-create a
harmonious future with the Earth.
Imagine incubating, regenerating, creating, and celebrating
within a dynamic and vibrant community in an ocean-side eco-village.
Every morning, rising naturally with the sun and jungle bird songs,
following the sound of crashing waves to private mermaid pools just
a minute's walk away. Returning for community meditation and freshly
squeezed orange juice, made from trees growing on the land. Sweet
and tangy papayas fall abundantly from the trees, alongside the
ancient mango grove and wild, night-blooming jasmine outside your
bedroom door. After a day of enticing, engaging, and expanding
somatic and intellectual education, soaking in a wood-burning hot
tub filled with pure spring water under a brilliant, star-filled
sky—untainted by city lights and sounds. Imagine awakening your body
with tribal drum lessons, voice activation, and singing circles,
with mud under your nails from a day immersed in permaculture
projects. Feel your muscles strengthen as you swim in the ocean with
wild dolphins, walk barefoot across the community's land, and
traverse jungle trail hikes and volcanic peaks. Discover which parts
of your identity and past you're ready to release for simplicity,
authenticity, and total inner regeneration. Find value and richness
in the texture of time expanded and health revitalized. This is what
one week living in paradise will do for your life—imagine what an
entire two months could bring to your reality and beyond.

We are intentionally gathering professionally and impact driven individuals so that this retreat can serve as an organic incubator. Imagine the acceleration that occurs at weekend conferences and intentional gatherings, now turn that into a sustainable lifestyle and see how the unexpected informs your work and passion projects. Why Hawaii: Rainbow Tribes and the Path to Harmony:
Hawaii is a land of rainbows; truly, there's a double rainbow sighting most days, arching across the blue sky and reflected in puddles from light, warm rains. This rainbow is symbolic of the Hopi Prophecy, foretelling the Rainbow Warriors—groups of diverse people from all walks of life who unite despite their diversity to heal the Earth and restore the balance between humanity and nature. People of all races, cultures, and spiritual beliefs will come together—as we are now—breaking down divisions and working in harmony. Our unity, symbolized by the Hawaiian rainbows, is woven by a recognition of the interconnectedness of all life as we work together toward regenerating the planet's ecosystems. It is a collective return to love, respect, and stewardship. The medicine is the reflection found within community, within co-creating and regenerating ourselves to bring balance and healing to the world as we each do our part to be responsible guides in a time of chaos, environmental degradation, greed, social isolation, and division—and into an era of harmony.

Retreat Capacity & Considerations:
The retreat will host about 20 guests each week. Longterm residents will be prioritized as we are aiming to cultivate an incubator and village model. There are 2 guest lodges onsite, 16 rooms in total. Each room has either a single queen size bed or queen bunkbed. Bunkbed rooms are prioritized to families with kids and kuleana partial-scholarship residents. All rooms have large windows with lots of natural light, and a work table is available upon request. In consideration of shared space, phone calls and Zoom meetings are not permitted inside of the the lodge before 9am or after sunset. There are designated work areas suitable for coworking and private meetings, as well as a nearby coworking cafe if you'd like to get offsite and meet locals. Instructors are hosted in private cabins.
This is an Eco Retreat, all facilities are shared. Guests share indoor/outdoor showers fed by rainwater reserves and there are composting toilets that provide vibrant soil for the gardens. Food is mostly organic, and designed to meet every dietary need. Lunch and dinner are prepared and served for the group to enjoy together. Guests can snack and cook as they like, with 24hr access to the pantries and kitchens. We are each responsible for maintaining cleanliness of shared areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with spices, baking goods, cast iron pans, vitamix blenders and every other kind of kitchen tool you can imagine. There is a care taker on land, and a toolshed to meet all basic needs. It's in no way requested that you get your hands in the dirt- but if you'd like to learn practical seeding, planting, harvesting, and building skills- there will be ample opportunities. Additionally, our neighbor occasionally hunts the local wild boar when they break past fences and dig up gardens. When this happens, we are invited to partake in a ceremonial process of honoring the life of the animal and learn whole-animal butchery. This optional and unplanned experience culminates with a traditional Hawaiian meal.
The retreat center is on a scenic ocean-side jungle road and walking distance to private mermaid pools. A short bike ride will bring you to the primary community event center, cafe and coworking spot. It's recommended to share a rental car with other guests to get a taste of all the magic the island offers. As a part of the retreat, we will be taking a day long field trip once a week to tour the sacred sites and take adventures. All transportation needs will be provided for these facilitated field trips.
Finally, this is a clothing optional property. That means that you might find people soaking naked in the wood burning hot tub, walking to the showers with nothing but a towel in hand, or reading a book in the outdoor lanai topless. We respect the human body and work together to create safe space. There will be a cultures book sent to all retreat guests upon registration, so we have a cohesive understanding of how to live and work together. Thank you Oliver Laurent, for contributing this thoughtful document. Onsite there are somatic and spiritual healing practitioners and body workers to ensure that the group emotional, mental and physical wellness is cared for and prioritized.
