We need to raise $250,000 by December 15th, 2022 to purchase
land for the purpose of creating the rainforest preserve and
eco-adventure park in the Los Cascadas valley. As a contributor,

This land is important because it is awe-inspiringly beautiful and people who visit it are able to connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way. The way humanity has been living on the planet has to change in order for future generations to continue living here. The Las Cascadas nature preserve, eco-village and eco-adventure park has a multi-faucted approach to encourage humanity to step humbly into gratitude and appreciation while realizing a new way to live on earth never before seen.
The project is intended to support anything that’s good for the
human spirit and soul. Las Cascadas is dedicated to creating a more
sustainable, healthier, and better tomorrow. The project will be
home to a beautiful nature preserve, one of the Earth’s largest and
most diverse tropical food forests, a world-class botanical garden,
recreational activities, a retreat center, various lodging options,
educational opportunities, a village with environmentally friendly
shops, galleries, boutiques and eateries and much more. We also have
a raw-vegan intentional community for those of you interested in
making Las Cascadas your home.
Project Details:
We are raising $250,000 USD to complete the purchase of the land
in the Los Cascadas valley of Guanacaste Costa Rica. The land is in
a purchase contract of $1,000,000 of which $750, 000 has already
been paid. The ownership of the land is being stewarded by our
American non-profit “Clean Source” which is named for the pure
spring water that flows down the waterfalls into the river that runs
through the valley. The two highest waterfalls in Costa Rica are on
this particular piece of property and it is the keystone of the
nature preserve.
Imagine a place absolutely unique on Earth where people come to
experience the jungle, the fresh air, the clean water, the abundant
wildlife, and fresh organic fruit provided by nature. The valley is
a paradise of exotic birds, monkeys, and thousands of other species
that call the valley home. We are in the midst of the sixth great
extinction on the planet and it is time NOW to do what we can to
protect precious areas like this one and educate people on the value
of natural ecosystems.

The Los Cascadas preserve is currently 400 acres but our aim is
to protect the entire valley of approximately 5000 acres, which
includes land in the surrounding watershed, and we have another 400
acres of the valley currently under a purchase contract.
Once the land purchase is complete we will make some improvements around the falls including nature trails, bridges, and an access road to make it possible for people of all walks of life to access the awesome spectacle of Los Cascadas.
Our eco-project is multifaceted and there are activities, accommodations, and learning opportunities for every type of traveler. We offer various travel-pack options so that you can stay at Las Cascadas for as long as you'd like. We’re situated in a beautiful location in the mountains, about 20 kilometers from the coast so it’s easy to make beach day trips. By repurposing this land into botanical gardens, biodiverse food forests, a sustainable eco-community and nature preserve, the carbon footprint of this area will be drastically improved. This in turn results in massive improvements in wildlife habitats, the reintroduction of native food-bearing plants, and many more beautiful landscapes for people to enjoy, respect, and feel compelled to protect. Your contribution to this fundraising campaign is invaluable,

Take the spirit of Las Cascadas with you everywhere! Our hardwood disk pendants are ethically and sustainably harvested from the branches of trees in the nature reserve. No trees are killed in the making of these pendants! Our caretaker selects an appropriate branch from a hardwood tree in the valley and takes it to our local wood worker who cuts it into disks, drills a small hole for hanging, then dries and cures them with natural oil. Your disk is then sent to you. You can wear it as a pendant, use it as a keychain ornament, or keep it with your other special belongings.
